To be eaten, to be divided, to be drunk

Watercolour and graphite
13.5 x 9cm

I have a cumquat on my verandah which retains its brilliant colours of green and orange year in and year out regardless of the season.  Unless the fruit is picked, it dries out on the bush, wrinkling like a small brain.  I have juxtaposed the seeds of a much larger relative of the cumquat, both of which can be eaten, divided or drunk.
